The 1st Annual Frank Walsh City Dive Golf Classic presented by City Dive Inc. will take place on Monday, October 12, 2009 8:00am at the beautiful Northstone Country Club in Huntersville, North Carolina. The classic is named in honor of Francis ‘Frank’ X Walsh II, an avid supporter of City Dive’s vision and mission. Frank passed away March 29, 2008 after battling cancer. It was his desire to host an annual golf outing that would provide financial resources to further advance City Dive’s mission.

Francis ‘Frank’ X Walsh II was an entrepreneur and a corporate consultant who worked for many years on Wall Street. He loved to raise money for charities organizing benefits for those in need. Frank was a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. He was elected to MENSA. He was an avid golfer and excellent paddle tennis player but his main interests promoting junior sports in the Huntersville community. The Frank Walsh City Dive Golf Classic marks 2009 as its inaugural year and will be an annual tribute to the two things that Frank enjoyed; the game of golf and raising monies for charities to benefit people in need.

The proceeds from the golf classic will be directly invested into the communities we serve.

Founded is 2006, City Dive is a 501c3 with a vision to engage, equip, and empower families to radically transform their lives and community. The organization’s mission is to equip families in converting their communities, serve them through identifying and adopting their needs, and provide resources, tools, and training to holistically address all facets of their community. The organization’s servant leaders and founder, Terrell L. Murphy provide their time, talent and resources to fulfill the City Dive mission.

Sponsorship Commitment

The sponsorship agreement is entered into as of this ____ day of ____________, _____ (‘Effective Date”) between _______________________ Hereafter known as “Sponsor” and City Dive, Inc. hereafter known as “City Dive”.

WHEREAS, SPONSOR desires to increase awareness of its support, products and/or service as well as community service outreach efforts;

WHEREAS, CITY DIVE will host the Frank Walsh City Dive Golf Classic on Monday, October 12, 2009 in Huntersville, NC. All parties understand the following:

City Dive will coordinate, produce, plan and implement the Frank Walsh City Dive Golf Classic. City Dive will provide SPONSOR with the benefits as designated under the selected sponsorship level.

SPONSOR will pay City Dive the appropriate Sponsorship Fee within 30 days of commitment and thereafter forward all needed material including, but not limited to logos, ads, etc. if applicable, no later than 30 days prior to the Golf Classic.

SPONSOR will provide camera-ready copy of logo no later than Tuesday, September 1, 2009. If the materials are not camera-ready, a set up charge of $45.00 will be assessed and due no later than 30 days prior to the banquet.
